• Turn Every electronic item of at the Mains when not in use. By doing this you can save about 20% on your electronic bill.
• Buy energy efficient light bulbs. Two 60 watt light bulbs use the same amount of energy as a computer and a LCD screen. Save another 20%
• Run your washing machine on 30c or on colder.
• Hang your clothes out to dry, don’t use the tumble drier.
• Don’t iron your clothes, just hang them up, will be crease free, save u 3 hours and save u on your electric bill. An 2000 watt iron could power a PC for about 18 hours for 1 hour uses of a iron.
Only boil the amount of water u need to use in your kettle.

Buy doing the above things u can reduce your electricity bill by 50% easy.

• Buy a compost bin to put all your raw kitchen food waste in. by doing this we now only put 1 black bag out every two weeks.
• Walk or Cycle to Work or School to get more fitness, increase your bank balance, get there quicker and save CO2.

• Only have heating on in morning and in evening.
• Don’t leave heating on all day if no one is in the house.
• Shut Curtains before it gets dark to stop the heat getting out.
• Put more Clothes on.
• Turn heating down
• Turn Heating off between April and September because you don’t need it on.

• Have showers instead of baths as this saves water.
• Put a bottle in your toilet to save water every time u flush.
• Don’t leave taps running.

• Slow down when driving, speeding in towns get u no where.
• Drive in 4th gear at 30mph.
• Change gear at about 2500rpm.
• Uses the gears to slow the car down using the brakes less.

By doing these simple actions u have save quite a few tons of CO2.
