Thankyou for visiting our website. We are a baton twirling team based in Benfleet, Essex.
Benfleet Starlight Twirlers currently consists of 27 members and 3 teachers.
We have taken part in 9 county competitions and won over 160 trophies.
Our troupe is run by Qualified Teacher & Judge, Lisa Johnson, who is also our lead coach. She is helped by experienced teacher Sheila Cook, and Junior assistant Stevie Read.
All teachers are CRB checked and 2 of them hold First Aid certfications, we are also fully insured.
This year the team are re-competing at county competitions which are run by the A.B.T.U.K Twirling Asociation, and some of the team are competing at N.B.T.A. Which is a national championship contest, held throughout the UK, With the National finals held in Torbay Devon.
In addition to entering competitions, Every year the team put on a show, to perform in front of family & friends.
We also very much enjoy taking part in fetes and displays, please contact Lisa if you would like to book us for your event. We dont charge a penny! We purely enjoy performing.
Some of our members attend purely for the fun and enjoyment and may enter in shows and contests in the near future.

Some numbers are limited withing certain age groups, so if your child is under 4, you may wish to enter their name on our waiting list.
We welcome beginner members and experienced aged between 4 - 16. Baton Twirling is an enjoyable and very rewarding sport both individually and being part of a team. It also keeps you fit and helps you have lots of fun!
We are professionally run, with a great team of coaches and parents who help every step of the way.
