Linda Denham, a Tri-Sigma, created The Care Bears. The bear above is Harmony Bear and was created especially for Tri-Sigma's. The three hearts in the middle replace the triangle, one of our symbols.






Carrie Underwood a Tri-Sigma from the Alpha Iota chapter at Northern Oklahoma was the 2005 winner in the fourth season of American Idol.

Lauren Nelson, Miss Oklahoma, competed in this years Miss America Pageant and won! She was crowned Miss America 2007.   She is the 82nd Miss America and also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma.






The novel Where the Heart Is was written by Billie Letts, a Tri-Sigma.   The novel was featured in Oprah's book club and was later made into a movie starring Natalie Portman, Ashley Judd, Stockard Channing, and Joan Cusack.



Our chapter, Epsilon Nu, at UNC-Greensboro was charterd in 1989.



Jennifer Blackburn-Dunn is a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Washington, and a Tri-Sigma.



Gladys Morelock was a superintendent of the United States Mint and a Tri-Sigma.



Suzie from the ABC television show "The Bachelor" is a Tri-Sigma




Tri-Sigma is the only sorority to make and maintain it's own philanthropy, which is Sigma Serves Children.


Tri-Sigma is the only sorority with two chapters in Alaska.



Tri-Sigma is the only sorority with a hearing impaired chapter.



Tri-Sigma is the first sorority with two international chapters in Germany and London.



Tri-Sigma is the first sorority to have an alumnae key contact in Antarctica.
